Great news: Julie Dexter is right now working on her next album "New Again". This album is produced by Steve Miggedy Maestro. “Broke Up About You” is the new single off my forthcoming album New Again produced by Steve Miggedy Maestro. It will be available for download on amazon on September 28th. I wanted to write a song from “the other woman’s” perspective....What’s her story? How did she come to be? At what point did she realise she was having an affair, Did she always know or was it a total surprise? Did he tell her the truth? Did she think he was gonna leave his wife for her? Did she get over him? Did he ever tell his wife?

We rarely hear songs which depict “the other woman’s” side of the story . There are tons of songs out there that are from the perspective of the man or woman who has been cheated on and the other man or woman always gets a bad rap because most of the time we don’t know the full story and we assume they are the home wrecker but that’s not always the case so this song is dedicated to all “the other men or women” out there who have found themselves in some kinda love triangle.
